Nick and I had good laugh when we saw what Gunnar packed in
his backpack for our Memorial Day outing this afternoon. Because you know it is important to be ready to defend yourself with plastic guns from any danger you might encounter, as well as sweep away any messes on the trail with a broom. We convinced him to leave it all in the Tahoe except for his plastic binoculars he can wear around his neck. Otherwise we know who would end up carrying it all - and it's not Gunnar.

Paddling on the Palouse

Went canoeing down the Palouse River last week from Palouse, WA to Eden Valley/Altergott Rd.  It was cold but a lot of fun.  I'm hoping to take Abby sometime soon.  Nobody fell in and a tot of warm liquid kept everyone warm.
