U of I volleyball

While Nick and the two older boys enjoy a rainy WSU football game, most of the 6th grade girls and a bunch of their moms are watching a volleyball game. Karsten is hanging out with the cousins this evening.

The battle is on!

Nick and I are finally replacing our old mattress that was hurting our backs with its huge indentations. Until it finds its way to the dump, my kids have discovered it has wonderful uses for jumping, wrestling, sword fighting, and junior level MMA antics.

Gunnar collected leaves at the U of I arboretum, and organized them into simple and pinnate and palmate compound leaves and presented them to the class.
