Sleeping generations

Papa and grandson Zane share some zzz's together. Signe smiles at the sleepy scene and Gunnar seems to enjoy the scenery on I-5.

Sharing a bed...

Zane has finally moved out of his crib bed and is now sharing the lower bunk with Signe. Signe is grateful for the company as she has recently started getting scared at night and efforts to force Gunnar to comfort her by joining her in her bed were unsuccessful. If the way Signe and Zane are sleeping together is any indication, I'd say she's thankful for her little brother's company and he hers'.

Dads and Daughters...

Interesting article on Dads and Daughters.  No matter how much we try to usurp traditional gender roles, being Dad still has a huge effect on a Daughter.

More!

"Someone" finished their ice cream bar first, then started demanding bites from his brother and sister. Piggy is as piggy does. Buzzsaw strikes again.

Zane "Crash" Holloway

Sunday, this is what your face looks like after falling off the swings at church face-first onto pea-gravel.

Friday, almost got ran over by a car. Saturday, tried to drink anti-freeze.

B-Zay is definitely a buzz saw.

Great quote on raising your kids in the church...

This is an excellent quote from my pastor about children, church, and Christianity...

"The goal is not to get your children to conform to the standard. The goal is to get them to love the standard. If you can’t get them to love the standard, lower the standard."
