Valentine's Day Thank You

It's a little belated, but the Holloway kids would be remiss to not shout out a big "THANK YOU" to Grandma and Nana for the massive load of cards that showed up in our mailbox last Thursday. They were pretty excited.

Brothers

A lot of times they fight. But then there are moments like this too. Earlier both Guns and Z were covering Karsten in kisses and telling little brother that they loved him.

Mess be gone

This is my final mountain to conquer. I want to get all the books back on the bookshelf and paint stuff put away, hopefully on the next couple of days.

My final mountain, that is, until we tackle the boxes in the garage, storage room, laundry room, and paint the downstairs, laundry room, Signe's room, etc. etc. But life would be so boring without challenges, right? Always something else to look forward to.

Karsten lost a shoe...

...after he decided to taste-test some dirt by the new fort.

Bee-you-tiful day

It is a glorious 51 degrees out on this fine Saturday, which is always a reason to rejoice in February in northern Idaho. Nick installed the fort this morning, and is now showing the kiddos the finer points of baseball in the backyard while Gunnar, well, guns the ball. I'm getting lunch ready for the gang, and later this afternoon the sheet rockers will come back to do the final texture of the gaping wounds they repaired last week from the wall we knocked down. I will hopefully get our baseboards painted, which means we can get our book shelves back in order, which means we will finally start feeling all settled in. Woo-Hoo!
