Rip City!

The kid's first Blazer game, also joined by the Sentzes and Anderson families.

And the last picture is of my looser children playing Minecraft in their pajamas at noon. At least they are all playing together... right??

Rogue Brewery

... and cribbage and wrestling matches.

Mo’s

Leaving the rental in Pacific City, we decided to stop at Mo's for lunch before heading to Woodburn. Clam chowder bread bowl and shrimp skewers - the kids are in heaven.

All 7 Holloway grandkids

Cape Lookout

On the way back south from Tilllamook to Pacific City we stopped for a brief hike. There was no wind, and the views were spectacular.

Tillamook

Ice cream at the Creamery, and a visit to the enormous WWII dirigible hangar at the Air Museum.

Polar Bear swim

Leave it Zane to not just go wading, but to fall completely and get soaked. At the Oregon coast. In December. Brrrrr.

Pacific City in December

Ron and Mary Ann's 50th anniversary was September 14, which is a great reason for their 3 kids and spouses and 7 grandkids to rent a house for 3 days at the coast to celebrate. We took advantage of a beautiful winter day with minimal rain to explore outside.

The Pie Safe

After hiking in the woods for a tree, it is becoming traditional to stop on the way home at The Pie Safe in Deary for delicious homemade soups, breads, and cinnamon rolls. Deary is a dinky town on the way to nowheresville, but this establishment makes it a worthy destination. Nana and Papa would love it.

Going tree hunting

Mom rejected Gunnar's first choice for a tree.

Holloway kids go tree cutting

And Signe takes over the picture-taking duties.
